Alpine Cubes – Ben Ohau (Lake Ohau, Mackenzie Country)

Alpine Cubes have a boutique & intimate cabin located in Ben Ohau, 15 mins to Twizel and 2 minutes from Lake Ohau in the beautiful Mackenzie Country. It captures the truely magnificent surrounding environment and landscape; on the edge of the Southern Alps, all whilst enjoying the views in comfort and tranquility.

A 50m2, architecturally designed cabin which is great for couples but also sleeps up to 6 ppl (comprising of a queen bed in the main bedroom and two bunks in a second bedroom). The accommodation includes a wood fired hot tub, linen, full kitchen, peace and privacy. This modern, cabin style accommodation is at the mercy of extreme alpine weather conditions. If you want to escape the rat race and reconnect with nature, Alpine cubes should do that for you. With some of the best star gazing in the world, an ever-changing skyline, clean fresh air and water straight from the mountains, you will feel alive here.

There are also some very picturesque views from every window that you won’t want to miss but there’s no wifi (and limited phone coverage) so maybe bring a good book.
