The team behind Gille Cafe in Newmarket has now opened a brand new cafe in the Hobsonville area, ready to serve delicious Altura coffee and exceptional cafe food. The new cafe offers a delicious menu with a variety of options for breakfast and lunch. The menu now includes seasonal specialties that feature fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Options like the summer berry chia pudding and the winter warmers soup are specially crafted to delight diners with high-quality flavors and a contemporary twist.
For breakfast or brunch, the cafe offers local favorites such as Eggs Benedict, French toast, and Smashed Avocado on toast. These dishes are sure to start your day off right with their delicious flavors and high-quality ingredients.
For lunch, the cafe offers a variety of options such as the Pork and Cabbage Dumplings or the Moroccan Grilled Chicken Salad (at the time we visited). These dishes are a great way to try something new, while still enjoying a satisfying and delicious meal.

Diasappointed that I couldn’t order a small mocha – even though there are small cups available for coffee! I suppose they don’t want to lower the charge from $6. No marshmallows either, which I’m used to at my regular cafes. Only a very few items in the cabinet and nothing in the ice cream bins! The only staff person was very friendly and the mocha was just how I like it. Unfortunately I won’t bother to return 😢
