Dear Jervois is a popular local cafe on Jervois Road, Herne Bay and loved by the locals and the like. Established in the early 2010s, the café quickly became a favourite due to its innovative menu and welcoming vibe. The café regularly hosts local artists, providing a platform for their work and fostering community pride and connection.
We had a turmeric latte, with a double shot of coffee made with coconut milk plus a flat white and brunch for two. We like the seating down stairs which seems a little exclusive and quieter. The warm lighting and rustic wooden furniture create a cosy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a chat.
There’s plenty of choices on the Dear Jervois menu which also covers people with gluten free and vegan requirements. Popular options include their avocado smash on sourdough and the acai bowl, both featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Dear Jervois uses eco-friendly packaging and partners with local suppliers to minimise environmental impact, reflecting their commitment to sustainability.
