Here’s a relaxing spot for an after work drink or nice meal with views out towards Auckland City. La Marina Restaurant (at Boat Shed 15) West Harbour has only just opened 26 Jan 2023. We met the new owners of the restaurant, Sathya and Seetha, who are new to the area and have moved here from Taupo to start La Marina.
They’ve started with a temporary dinner menu. But they plan to be open all day everyday. We enjoyed the salt and pepper squid with cold drinks and we look forward to go back and try their full menu when it’s available.

Went for dinner 3 August 23 and really enjoyed the Thursday Steak night. The meal was lovely. We had mushroom sauce as an extra with the steak and changed from mash potato to fries. The food was served hot and the portions were very generous. Will definitely go again and looking forward to trying the lunch menu on a weekend.

Shane and I couldn’t me more grateful for the warm accommodation, fantastic entree, and mains! All our guests were happy and satisfied with the foods served during the reception!

Very busy today limited staffing
We booked yesterday and were given an arrival time but no one available to meet or seat us
Be great even when busy there is acknowledgement of new customers in the restaurant Drinks taken and wait time advised so every one knows what is happenng
Minimal service, as not able to meet todays need
We will go again Lovely hard working owners trying to make a successful business and locally we need this. Difficult to balance bookings & staffing

Food is outstanding… Service was prompt… Chef is interacting with the guests and offer his choices too… Lovely place to kick back relax… Everything is made with perfection in this space.. Hospitality at its best, totally faultless !!!

Great night out after a hard day at work. The fish and chips was so good and such a big serving. Best fish I have had in ages. Service was great even though they haven’t got lots of staff yet. Very friendly lady doing the waitressing. The view of the marina was great. The drinks were good.

What a nice night. Their opening evening, expecting a couple of minor hiccups, but none happened. Came away feeling really good (and full) after a very pleasant night out. Top marks. Well done. Food and service excellent. We’ll be back.
