Matte Black is a favourite cafe we visit regularly during the week, thus returned during the weekend for lunch. Sadly the quality/cooking of our food was not up to the standard of what we have had in the past. We ordered the corn & edamame bean fritters. They came deep fried, thus they had lost all the fresh taste of the ingredients and were thin and ultra crispy. When we spoke to the staff about the quality of our meal, they did not want to know about it.The atmosphere/views are lovely though.
