Himalayan Fusion Restaurant – New Lynn (Auckland)

We enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. The building that now houses the Himalayan Fusion Restaurant was once a bustling Burger King, known for its quick service. The transformation retains some structural elements but embraces a more inviting decor today. The restaurant it’s self was in a former Burger King site and tainted the experience a little.

The food though was a pleasure surprise. Himalayan cuisine here showcases rich flavours, using spices like turmeric and saffron. Traditional dishes like momos and dal bhat are prepared authentically, offering a genuine taste of the region. It really was delicious. We particularly loved their signature butter chicken, perfectly spiced and creamy. Pairing it with their garlic naan enhanced the delightful flavours.

The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, offering insights into the menu. Their recommendations added to the overall pleasant dining experience. Compared to nearby eateries, Himalayan Fusion offers unique flavours and a cozy atmosphere. Its authentic dishes and reasonable pricing set it apart from local competition.
