What now is The Park House Cafe use to be a local farm house, in 2017 the building was carefully moved to the corner of Ripeka Lane and Brigham Creek Road, then completely refurbished and given a new lease on life as the local eatery that it is today.
The Parkhouse opened in May 2018 as a place for anyone to come to for honest, delicious food, coffee and treats using fresh seasonal produce and local suppliers. Although the menu can be seasonal, they like to keep their most popular dishes on the menu all year-round. The Park House Cafe Whenuapai is a spacious, bright cafe and welcoming cafe. There’s delicious in house made food to pick from at the front counter or if you wish order off the Menu.
The Parkhouse is a place for breakfast, brunch, coffee, lunch and dinner dates; A place to chill out over a good chat on the lovely deck with your beverage of choice or relax inside in the light spacious dining area.

First visit, lovely premises. We had counter food, looked to me like most of it could be sourced from the cafe at Pah Homestead. Having said that, my “berry & cream cheese” muffin had a lump of cream cheese + half an unidentified berry, the whole thing had little flavour. Coffee – very average – nowhere near what I wld expect from a fairly busy cafe. Guess there’s nowhere else in the vicinity. I always ask for a small trim flat white, whereupon I was asked what size coffee I wanted……. Won’t be in a hurry to return.
